Observe children as they play with miniature objects in a variety of situations to help you reach an objective assessment of their early concept formation and symbolisation – abilities that precede and develop alongside children’s receptive and expressive language.
The test consists of four independent situations, where four sets of toys are presented to a child in a specific order, enabling you to observe whether they relate to them appropriately.
The toys in each set lend themselves to a variety of meaningful interrelationships. The scoring system is based on the number and nature of responses and connections the child is able to make. The results enable you to plan appropriate interventions at this very early stage of development.
