Welcome to our support page for the Whole Pupil View

We want you to have the best experience of using your assessments and making the best use of the results, and we hope this will provide you the key information you need as you get started.

We have created a series of short videos (less than 10 minutes each) to take you through how assessment data from the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4), the Progress Test series (PT Series), the New Group Reading Test (NGRT) and the Pupil Attitudes to Self and School (PASS) survey can be used to develop a Whole Pupil View. The videos cover:

  • What standardised tests are and how they work with your knowledge of the learner
  • Using the Progress Test Series to identify gaps in learning
  • Comparing attainment with ability to measure pupil potential and spot underachievement
  • Identifying any potential barriers to learning
